A Little Boy With Muscular Dystrophy Gets To Live His Dreams Through Photography

Luca is a 12-year-old boy who loves to have fun and explore new things. But he has a condition called muscular dystrophy, which makes his muscles weaker and weaker over time. He can only move his fingers, so he uses an electric wheelchair to get around and a colored pen to draw his amazing ideas on paper.

But Luca doesn’t let his physical limitations stop him from being adventurous and creative. He has a friend named Matej Peljhan, who is a photographer from Slovenia. Matej wanted to make Luca’s dreams come true, so he came up with a brilliant idea. He made a photo series called The Little Prince, in which Luca is the star. According to Luca’s wishes, the boy was photographed as if in motion, revealing his playfulness and a bit of mischief. The photos were taken from above and modeled to look like the boy is riding on a skateboard, playing basketball, dancing, and even flying. These photos are so beautiful and inspiring; they show how powerful Luca’s imagination is.
