Clint Eastwood, 92, Is Working On A New Movie, But It Will Be His Last

The legendary director is busy working on his next film, which is reportedly his last.

Reports point out that the iconic Hollywood star is considering retirement after his upcoming movie, Juror No. 2, a courtroom thriller.

X account DiscussingFilm reported that sources close to the actor have revealed Eastwood’s plans for the future, claiming that his upcoming project will conclude his extensive and illustrious career.

Juror No. 2 will be Eastwood’s 40th title as a director. The story reportedly revolves around a man summoned to investigate a murder case, only to realize he may be the culprit. As the trial takes place, he has two options: to either turn himself in, or manipulate the jury to get himself a favorable decision.

The 92-year-old recently directed and starred in Cry Macho (2021), He also possesses a wide barrage of award-winning movies to his name, including Million Dollar Baby (2004), American Sniper (2014), and Sully (2016).

The movie will likely be distributed by Warner Bros., the behemoth company Eastwood has worked with for the majority of his career. It’s also reportedly the director-actor last affair in Hollywood, though some other rumors reported that he will continue his flicks.

Though he is certainly a busy man, Eastwood is also enjoying his elder life, spending time with his family more than at the scene. Francesca Eastwood, Clint’s daughter, recently posted on Instagram about what an amazing grandfather he can be, playing with his grandson Titan. “Best dad. Best grandfather,” she wrote in the caption. People quickly heap praise for how similar Titan and Clint are in the picture.

Lowell Tomas Murray, son of Laura Murray, Eastwood’s eldest daughter, also spoke highly of his grandfather, emphasizing what a great person he was. “All I would say is that he’s been a great father to my mom, and always great to me and my family whenever we see him,” said Lowell.

While we all want Clint Eastwood to keep making more cinematic masterpieces as we speak, it’s also understandable if he wants to step away from the spotlight and enjoy life with his family.
