The Story Of A Girl With Rare Birthmark And Her Mom Who Teaches Us To Embrace Our Differences

Nicole Lucas Hall is a mother of two who loves her children more than anything. Her son, Asher, and her daughter, Winry, are her pride and joy. She wants to celebrate her daughter’s uniqueness because Winry has a special feature that makes her stand out. She has a beautiful birthmark that covers a large part of her face.

Nicole remembers the first time she saw her daughter. She felt confused and worried and didn’t know what the birthmark was, and she wondered if it was dangerous. She clearly had never seen anything like it before.

But the doctors quickly calmed her down. They told her that Winry had a rare condition called congenital melanocytic nevi (CMN), which affects about 1 in 50,000 babies. They said that the birthmark was mostly cosmetic and that it didn’t pose any serious health risks. It was just like any other mole or freckle.

Nicole told Bright Side that she felt a huge relief when she heard that. She relaxed and enjoyed her daughter’s birth even more. Since then, her main goal as a parent has been to make sure that her daughter is happy and confident.

Nicole has shared her daughter’s story online, but not everyone has been supportive. She has faced a lot of negative comments and criticism, and she gets a lot of rude looks and whispers when she goes out with her daughter.

But Nicole doesn’t let that bother her. She says that she tries to educate people who are ignorant about her daughter’s condition and uses humor to deal with people who are mean and hateful.

She also says that she has been touched by the kindness and compassion of many people who have learned about her daughter’s story. She and her husband are very thankful and moved by the support and empathy they have received.

Winry is fortunate to have a caring and supportive big brother in Asher. Despite Winry’s birthmark on her face, Asher sees her just like any other sister. To him, her birthmark is no different from having different eye colors—it’s simply a part of who she is, and he loves her unconditionally.

Asher sometimes gets jealous when his mom pays more attention to his sister, but that’s normal for any kid his age. Nicole believes that he will grow up to be Winry’s best friend and protector.

Every day, Nicole and her husband focus on nurturing and protecting their children, Winry and her brother, ensuring they grow up confident and proud of who they are. While they keep a close eye on Winry’s well-being, they also prepare her to face any judgments or perceptions she may encounter from others.

Nicole’s main goal is to teach Winry the importance of kindness and resilience. They constantly remind her of her inner beauty and encourage her to approach life with joy and confidence.

Nicole and her husband promise to always support and guide Winry, making sure she’s surrounded by people who treat her with kindness and respect. Their priority is to provide Winry with a loving and secure environment where she can thrive.

Nicole uses social media to raise awareness about Winry’s condition, hoping to educate others about diversity and acceptance. She believes that Winry’s journey can inspire and connect with many families facing similar experiences.

As loving parents, Nicole and her husband are committed to making Winry’s life as smooth as possible. Nicole takes it upon herself to normalize birthmarks and educate others about their significance. Their ultimate goal is to create a positive change for Winry and other children like her.
We fully support Nicole’s mission to raise awareness and promote acceptance. Every child deserves to feel beautiful and loved!
