Sweet: A Michigan dad has gone viral for writing an adorable review of his 18-month–old daughter’s ‘restaurant’

A Michigan dad has gone viral for writing an adorable review of his 18-month–old daughter’s ‘restaurant.’

Christopher Kyle posted about the experience on Instagram on May 21, saying he stopped by a new establishment called ‘Ava’s Kitchen’ for lunch.

Detroit resident Christopher was not impressed with the service, noting that the owner stopped to watch Paw Patrol in the middle of making his order — but because she’s such a ‘cutie,’ he’s willing to give the restaurant another chance.

The proud father’s post includes a photo of baby Ava dressed up in a hat and apron in her play kitchen.

Dad is sitting in a tiny chair at a tiny table, his chin resting on his fist with a dissatisfied look as he waits a long time for the food he ordered.

‘So I tried to support another Black Owned Business for lunch today,’ he wrote. ‘It’s called Ava’s Kitchen, just opened end of April. It’s a very clean establishment, but whewww let me tell you about this owner.

‘First off, I asked why there are balloons on my chair, and it’s not my birthday? She talm’bout, mind yah business; those are Mommy’s,’ he said.

‘I been waiting on my order to get done for 45 minutes, and I’m the only customer here. She was making good progress at first, then she stopped for 20 minutes to go watch Paw Patrol.’

They’re hungry! The review went viral, and the chef soon had a long line of (stuffed) customers
Proud: Christopher admitted that he was hesitant about spending a few hundred dollars on the kitchen at first — but he’s changed his mind since seeing how happy it makes Ava
‘Overall the customer service could be better, but the cook is a cutie; so I’ll give her another chance. Let’s not give up on Black businesses so fast after one mistake,’ he wrote

Despite all this, he’s willing to give Ava a break.

‘Overall the customer service could be better, but the cook is a cutie; so I’ll give her another chance. Let’s not give up on Black businesses so fast after one mistake,’ he concluded.

The post quickly went viral, racking up thousands of likes and media attention.

Christopher soon followed it up with another photo of Ava in her kitchen — along with a dozen stuffed animals lined up.

‘Just pulled back up to @myavachristine Kitchen after she went viral this past weekend and whewww, she got a line down the block y’all!’ he wrote.

Cutie: Chris said his young daughter’s ‘personality is absolutely amazing’
‘She is such a silly girl. From the moment she wakes up, she’s laughing, smiling, and playing the entire day,’ he said
‘Ava is the star of her own little world when she is ready to play,’ he said
