Scarlett Moffatt Shut Down Online Haters For Making Fun Of Her Son In Spectacular Fashion

The Gogglebox star has hit back at the online trolls

Gogglebox star Scarlett Moffatt has responded to online haters criticizing the appearance of her baby son. The celebrity, who welcomed her first kid with partner Scott Dobinson last year, addressed the criticism in a post on Instagram last June.

In a recent update to her fans, Moffatt posted pictures from her grandmother’s birthday celebration, showcasing moments of her holding her son as they enjoyed the party with relatives. The caption read: “Can’t believe my baby is already 2 months old! Spent the entire weekend with my family celebrating my Nanny’s 70th. We played bingo, participated in quizzes, and savored burnt sausages from the BBQ – perfectly imperfect. From start to finish, we shared laughter, and Jude even experienced his first time in a pool.”

Despite the delightful photos, a few trolls took issue with Moffatt’s son’s choice of footwear.

One user commented, “At that age, they should only be wearing socks or babygros,” leading the TV personality to counter the criticism, stating, “They are soft shoes! They’re Nike crib shoes! I’m not going to put trainers on my baby.”

Fortunately, some individuals in the comments stepped in to help diminished the trolls, and Moffatt herself expressed appreciation for those who shared positive comments.
