18-Year-Old Honors Her Parents By Recreating Their Graduation Photo 17 Years Later And Everyone Thinks Her Parents Don’t Age

Madeleine Tarin had a special plan for her graduation day. She wanted to honor her parents, who had her when they were teenagers. So she recreated a photo from 17 years ago, when her mom graduated from high school with her dad by her side and baby Madeleine on his shoulders.

Madeleine, who graduated from Chino Hills High School, posted the photo on Twitter with the caption, “We made it together.”My mom was 15 while pregnant with me; she had me at 16. My dad was 17. The original picture is from June 2000.”

They faced a lot of judgment and challenges, but they never gave up. Her dad worked hard in construction, and her mom continued playing soccer. They finished high school with the help of their “amazing grandparents.” Now, they have a strong, loving marriage.

The photo went viral on Twitter, getting more than 76,000 retweets and almost 330,000 likes. Many people praised Madeleine and her parents for their inspiring stories. Madeleine said the photo symbolized her family’s achievements and how her parents beat the odds.
“I couldn’t ask for a more loving, supportive family than the one God gave me,” she added.

Madeline is walking in her mom’s footsteps in a couple of ways. She’s heading to Rider University in New Jersey, bagging a scholarship for both her athletic skills and academic achievements to join Division 1 soccer this fall. On top of that, she’s diving into the health sciences, aiming to become an occupational therapist. And her goal is to bring pride to her parents and carry on their legacy.

Her initial image upload on Twitter was retweeted more than 76k times and liked over 329k times…

With many people claiming the parents haven’t aged at all during these years

This is a celebration of pride and dedication, something the Tarin family obviously values a lot
